White Salmon City Council Notice of Hearing-Shoreline Master Plan

The White Salmon City Council is considering adoption of an updated Shoreline Master Plan (SMP) to  meet the requirements of RCW 90.58.080(4).

White Salmon has prepared draft SMP amendments to keep the SMP current with changes in state law, changes in other City plans and regulations, and other changed local circumstances.  Proposed amendments to the City’s SMP are available for review on the city website or by email request to erikac@ci.white-salmon.wa.us. A paper copy will be available for viewing at the City’s offices at 100 N Main Street.

Public Hearing

A  public hearing with a virtual / telephonic attendance option, will be held during the City Council meeting on Wednesday June 21 6:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 119 NE Church.

The written comment period has ended, but those interested may attend the meeting and provide oral comments at the June 21 meeting.

Interested residents may attend the meeting in person or via Zoom. Zoom instructions will be included on the agenda for the city council meeting and the agenda will be posted on the City’s website approximately five days prior to the June 21 meeting.
