About the Police Department
The City of White Salmon is located in the heart of the Columbia Gorge. The Bingen-White Salmon Police Department is a full service municipal police agency serving the city of White Salmon and Bingen. The Department employs seven certified police officers which includes the Chief, Sergeant, 5 Patrol Officers, Office Manager, and Police Clerk.
The Bingen-White Salmon Police Department's fundamental duty is to serve the community; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the constitutional rights of all to liberty, equality and justice. Our goal is to live our Mission everyday and continue to maintain our community’s trust.
