NW

PHASE I WATER TRANSMISSION IMPROVEMENTS BEGIN MAY 13, THROUGH AUGUST 30, 2024

The City of White Salmon will be continuing construction of a water transmission main on Buck Creek Road (Road B-1000) consisting of the installation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of 16-inch diameter ductile iron pipe; valves, vaults, and appurtenances; surface restoration and other miscellaneous work required to complete the Project.

The project will begin Monday, May 13, 2024, through August 30, 2024. Approximate times for construction are 7 AM to 7 PM, weekdays.

Buck Creek Road will be closed to the public from approximately the Department of Natural Resources gates west of the City’s Buck Creek Monitoring Station to the City’s Treatment Plant and Reservoir beginning May 13, 2024. The restroom and trailhead parking facility next to Buck Creek, Buck Creek Trail, and Buck Creek Falls Trail will be closed for use during the week.  Parking near the Buck Creek bridge will be limited for construction.  During weekdays, access will be restricted to emergency vehicles and authorized personnel during construction; vehicles parked in the construction zone may be towed at the owner’s expense. Please avoid these areas during this time frame and plan for alternate routes.
